Everyday, or at least the last few weeks, I am illustrating personal concepts.
I am trying to slice out a bit of time each day for personal concept game design and game development. These slices are starting from the lowest form, a smudge of an idea, to something, hopefully, final.
These concepts may eventually develop into something or they may not. I am just going to have fun in the process drawing. Ideally, art will flow forth in which I can appreciate and maybe be proud of from this process.
These thumbnail sketches are a concepts for a character design that I am looking to turn in to a sprite in the short distance future. I would love as much feedback as possible on these rough gesture concept drawings. Just focus on the shape of the character in the thumbnail. What shapes is most appealing to you. Please pick, one to five of your favorite concept thumbnail shapes.
I may have honestly polished these sketches a bit too much. I generally prefer to keep them more non-descript gestures.
